Words from the President of the Deputy Sheriffs' Association of Pennsylvania

I am honored to have been sworn in as the 23rd president of this great association. I plan to increase membership by seeing what the deputies from around the state need from us. We will offer training and we will bring that relevant training to them. We will provide current members that are already trainers in specialized units throughout the state to provide that training. We just need to communicate our needs. These training's can include things like defensive tactics/control tactics, room entry/room clearing, active shooter, medical, and courtroom security/situational training. We will be offering CPR/first aid training at future conferences. All we need to do is increase our communication throughout the state. We look to continue to build our bond with the PSA as we work together for better pay and consistent  authority throughout the state. I am confident if we all work together we can achieve great things in the future. I look forward to the next 2 years.
