
Montco Sheriff’s Department adds new deputies
Norristown, Pa., (February 21, 2014) – Three new sheriff’s deputies will soon be on duty in the Montco Courthouse. The deputies joined the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department on February 18, 2014 and are completing their training.
Dep. Brendan McCann of Royersford, Pa., is a graduate of Montgomery County Community College with an A.A.S. degree in criminal justice and is following in the footsteps of several other family members, who also serve in law enforcement.
Dep. Ryan Krasley of Schwenksville, Pa., is pursuing an A.A.S. degree in criminal justice at Montgomery County Community College. He has been serving his community as a volunteer firefighter for over 5 years, and is currently volunteering with the Perkiomen Township Fire Department. Krasley is CPR and First Aid certified and proficient in Tae Kwon Do.
Dep. Thomas Oelschlager of East Greenville, Pa., is furthering his commitment to protecting citizens. He received several awards, medals and campaign ribbons, while serving as a U.S. Marine Corporal and rifle specialist in Afghanistan and Iraq.
